about Hannah Boes
"Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can't help them, at least don't hurt them." - Dalai Lama
Hannah Boes is completing her clinical externship at Fusion Psychological and Consulting Services for the 2018-2019 academic year. She will be providing a variety of services under the clinical supervision of Dr. Griffin. This means that she is not a licensed psychologist, but has received training to provide therapy and other clinical services under supervision. She will consult regularly with Dr. Griffin regarding the services she provides. Hannah graduated from the College of William and Mary in 2014 and is currently pursuing a Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology and a Master's of Education in Human Sexuality at Widener University in Chester, Pennsylvania. She has worked extensively in trauma-informed crisis intervention and long-term support with survivors of relational abuse and sexual assault. She has also spent time as an educator and school counselor to children and adolescents.
Hannah is committed to establishing safe and authentic connections with her clients. She strives to understand and honor each person’s identities and experiences and is grateful to work across difference and diversity. Hannah is informed by an integration of techniques including psychodynamic, family systems, mindfulness-based, cognitive behavioral, and humanistic therapies. She has a flexible, trust-centered approach that views the client as an active collaborator in directing the therapeutic journey.
Entering therapy is a brave step and Hannah feels privileged to bear witness to this moment and those that follow. Individual and couples therapy is available for adolescents and adults. Psychological and Neuropsychological Assessments are available for children, adolescents, and adults.
