training & consultation
Dr. Griffin has years of experience providing individual and group supervision to psychology externs, interns, and unlicensed psychology associates. Dr. Griffin approaches supervision just as she approaches her treatment services—with genuineness, warmth, and compassion. She works collaboratively with her supervisees to develop professional goals. Dr. Griffin will meet supervisees where they are in their training, but she will also challenge them to think critically and thoughtfully about the choices they make when working with clients. She tends to take a Socratic approach to teaching and learning, to help supervisees answer their own questions and reach their own conclusions. often Dr. Griffin works best with highly motivated clinicians who are open to thinking flexibly and constructively about the work they do. Individual supervision is available 1-2 hours per week, and group supervision of 3 or more students/associates is available 1-hour per week.
