Dr. Griffin believes that ALL people deserve access to quality mental healthcare, regardless of SES, employment status, or other financial obstacles. Therefore, she offers a variety of options for accepting payment.
Fees vary depending upon the service provided, and this fee schedule reflects my typical hourly rates for the services listed. However, the amount you pay out of pocket will depend upon several factors, such as whether or not you are using your insurance. All co-payments, co-insurance, or other out-of-pocket expenses are due at the time of service, unless prior financial arrangements have been made. Dr. Griffin accepts cash, personal check, all major credit cards, and most HSA plans. Dr. Griffin wants to work with you to ensure you receive the care you need. Sliding scale fees, payment plans, and other payment arrangements are possible. Dr. Griffin is also a participating volunteer provider and volunteer supervisor for the Pro Bono Counseling Project in Maryland.

Dr. Griffin is credentialed as an In-Network provider for:
Cigna (Open Access Plus, PPO, HMO/Network)
All CareFirst BCBS plans for Maryland (PPO, HMO and Federal Employee Program)
Please Note: Even if you have insurance, you are still responsible for any co-pay, co-insurance, or deductible that is required.
Dr. Griffin is Out-of-Network for all other private insurance providers. If she is out-of-network with your insurance provider, but you still wish to receive services at Fusion, she is able to provide you with all the necessary paperwork to submit claims on your own behalf. However, it is your responsibility to check your eligibility and benefits to determine whether your insurance carrier will provide any benefits for out-of-network providers.
Dr. Griffin does not take Medicaid at this time.
*PRE-CERTIFICATION: Please note that some insurance companies require their members to receive pre-certification authorization for some types of benefits, such as psychological and neuropsychological testing, regardless of whether Dr. Griffin is an in-network or out-of-network provider. Dr. Griffin will be happy to complete any pre-authorization forms necessary to get services approved, but it is your responsibility to check with your insurance to determine if pre-certification is necessary. This is easily done by calling the number on the back of your insurance card.
